WagerThesis
Read the price. Write the thesis. Test it with practice chips.
Launching: live site, still in development

The problem
Most sports and market apps push you to act before you understand the price. People who want to learn how prices work have two options: read about it, or risk money. There is little in between that shows the real prices and lets you test an idea safely.
What I built
Market boards for sports, stocks and crypto. Sports show posted sportsbook prices when the live feed is on, and examples labelled as examples when it is not.
A thesis flow: pick a matchup or market, write why you think the price is wrong, and test it with simulated funds.
Tables for friends with private invite links: Hold’em, Omaha, Blackjack, Roulette, Baccarat, Craps (classic or bubble) and Three Card Poker, all on practice chips.
Host tools for those tables: seat requests, chip top-ups, a shared ledger and a settle-up view, with an 18+ check before anyone takes a seat.
Shareable matchup pages with their own preview cards, so a link sent to a friend shows the game, not a generic logo.
Decisions that shaped it
Practice chips only
Nothing on the site takes deposits or pays out. Practice chips have no cash value, and every table says so.
No advice
The site shows prices and helps you reason about them. It never tells anyone what to bet or buy.
Social stays free
Tables, invites, chat and reactions are free to everyone.
Release gates on every deploy
A type check and the unit suites run before every deployment, previews included, so a failing check stops the release.
Why I built it
WagerThesis is shaped by my interest in sports and investing. It puts the price, the reasoning and the result in one place, without money on the line.
How I will measure it
The site is new, so these are the numbers I will judge it by as traffic grows:
Weekly visitors who arrive from a shared link or search, not only direct visits.
Visitors who finish their first thesis.
Tables that reach a second hand with friends at them.
How often a shared matchup link is opened.
What it is not
It is not a sportsbook, a broker or a tipping service. There are no deposits, withdrawals or prizes, and nothing on it is financial or betting advice.
